2 Workshops from 10 to 5 pm daily— (2) 2-day workshops (include teaching fees, bench fees, all tools, equipment and firing.)

Accommodations and air flight are not included and are the responsibility of the student.​

DETAILS
Weather, dining and details:

Weather: The climate in Tequisquiapan and the surrounding area is temperate with two well-defined seasons each year. Most rain falls between June and October, with the dry season extending from November to April. Summers are hot and winters are moderately cold. The coldest months are October to February, when the temperature is high during the day (around 20˚C/68˚F), but falls sharply in the small hours of the morning (to about 10˚C/50˚F). Bring appropriate nightwear!

Dining: All special dietary needs and food related allergies should be reported upon booking.

Special Accommodations: We’d like to make class as fulfilling and comfortable as possible. Please let us know if you have any special needs we need to consider so you can make the best of your trip.

POLICIES
All regular bookings require a 50% deposit. Unless other written payment arrangements are made.
Deposits can be made by secured pay pal account, wire or express mail by check. In order to hold a reservation we must receive the deposit within ten days of the booking being made. The balance is due 45 days prior to your arrival date.

Cancellation and refund policy:​

All cancellations are subject to a 25% booking fee.
Reservations cancelled prior to Nov. 30, 2014, deposit minus booking fee is refundable.
After Dec.30, 2014, 50% of retreat fee is refundable.
After Jan. 30, 2014, adventure fee is non-refundable.
Should The Mexican Opal Retreat be canceled for low enrollment or events beyond our control, the entire amount paid will be refunded within fourteen days after the adventure’s cancellation. We cannot be held responsible for any additional costs or fees related to the issuance and/or cancellation of airline tickets, accommodations, car rentals or other travel reservations.

Travel Insurance:
It is strongly recommended that all workshop participants purchase Trip Cancellation, Emergency Medical Evacuation, Baggage, Accident and Medical insurance from a reputable insurance company.

However, life can present situations beyond our control, and therefore we can not be held responsible for the behavior of vendor staff, acts of nature, other students, and unforeseen situations. Additionally, while Holly Gage has fired hundreds of loads of work with precision and accuracy, we can not be held liable should a firing issue arise from electrical surges, project breakage during firing, or other undesirable results. We will try are best to avoid these situations but would be remiss in not mentioning these possibilities.
